- Explanation: This category allows you to import multiple driver profiles at once using a CSV file. This is useful for quickly adding a large number of drivers to your system.
- Instructions:
- Log in to the DOTDriverFiles app.
- From the Dashboard, click on “Drivers” in the left navigation bar.
- Select “Bulk Import”.
- For those who need to upload multiple drivers at once, a bulk upload option is available. Follow the steps below:
- Download and complete the bulk upload template file by clicking the blue hyperlinked “bulk upload template file”.
- Click the “Choose File” button below and select the completed Bulk Upload template file from your computer. **Ensure that the file is of type: xlsx, xls.
- Click “Import File”. You will confirm submission once the file has been verified.
- The confirmation message will appear in light green on the same page and say: “You’re all set (# of drivers) new drivers were added to your list. Click here to view your update list.” This will take you to the Pending Drivers page.
- Review the imported drivers and confirm the import.
- Select a new driver imported in the bulk import. This takes you to the Overview page for the newly added driver.
- Click on the “Qualification Checklist” selection in the top horizontal navigation (3rd option).
- The top item in the Qualification Checklist is the “Driver’s Application for Employment”. Click the button to the right labeled “Complete Now”.
- Click “Send Form” or “Upload Form”:
- Send Form: Allows you to text, email, or copy the URL to send to the driver. The driver must complete all the historical data on the application and electronically sign everything to fulfill this step.
- Upload Form: If you have existing driver files you are adding to the software, you can upload digital copies of their files. This can be done individually or in bulk with a Zip file of all documents. Make sure that each document for the Driver Qualification File is named with the document type in the title. Our software will place each file in the appropriate folder if named correctly.
