• How to Complete the Medical Examiner’s Certificate:
  1. Log in to the DOTDriverFiles app.
  2. From the Dashboard, click on “Drivers” in the left navigation bar.
  3. Select the driver who needs to complete the Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
  4. Click on the “Qualification Checklist” tab in the top navigation bar.
  5. In the Qualification Checklist, find the section titled “DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Long Form suggested)” and click “Complete Now”.

6. Click “Upload Medical Certificate” to upload the digital copy of the report you have obtained from a “Medical Examiner Verified on National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.”

7. Complete the fields including expiration date and date of certification, then choose a file from your device to upload and click “Upload File(s)”. This will generate the green checkmark.
