- Explanation: This category includes drivers who were previously active but are no longer employed or have been temporarily deactivated. Once a driver is placed in the Inactive Drivers category, they cannot be reactivated. A new file must be created, starting with a digital application.
- Instructions:
- Log in to the DOTDriverFiles app.
- From the Dashboard, click on “Drivers” in the left navigation bar.
- Select “Inactive Drivers”.
- Click on the name of the driver to view their profile.
- Review the driver’s information. Note that reactivation is not allowed.
- To add this driver again in the future, create a new file starting with a digital If reconsidering the application, discuss with the applicant the steps needed to address the issues raised during the initial review.
- If you decide to reconsider the application, you can move the applicant back to “New Applicants” by clicking “Reconsider Application” and following the prompts.
