- After moving the applicant to pending driver status, you will see an Overview screen.
Side Note: If you don’t immediately order an MVR, you will have to log in again, click “Pending Drivers,” select the desired applicant, and then you will see the Overview screen.
- On the Overview screen, you will see four boxes to the right of the description “What’s the next step?”.
“The driver status is currently Pending, which means they are being considered for employment but have not yet been employed or qualified to drive. You must now decide whether or not to recruit this driver after evaluating their complete driver file, running a DOT Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) Report, and running a state Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). The Qualification Checklist must also be completed to check that the driver has been appropriately qualified in accordance with the DOT requirements. A failing audit will happen if the qualification is not completed.” - All four boxes will have a greyed-out checkmark icon. Click on the square with “Motor Vehicle Report” on it.
- You should see a green check mark icon for “Driver Reported Violations” from their application.
- The next section allows you to click “Run MVR” or “Upload MVR”.
- You can order an MVR in all 50 states instantly through our application.
- Alternatively, you can upload an electronic copy of the MVR if you already have a current copy.
- The cost of the MVR, which varies by state, will be instantly displayed.
- Enter the driver’s first and last name, date of birth, license number, and state.
- The issue and expiration dates will be displayed as relevant.
- If you have a balance on account, you will be able to charge against your deposit.
- If not, click the “Add Card” button to enter the appropriate billing information prior to ordering.
Note: If your account balance is below the MVR Report costs, the system will automatically deposit funds into your account based on the Replenishment Amount in your settings.
- Once billing information is entered, click “Run MVR”.
- The MVR will be ordered via internet connection and will typically be received within a few minutes.
- Occasionally, some states may have a longer delivery time frame.
- The MVR will be made available instantly upon receipt.
- After ordering or uploading the current MVR, you will need to complete the “Annual Review of Violations & Driving Record Form”.
- This form will not be accessible until the MVR file has a green check mark on it.
